BRANDING FAQ’S
-
To kick off the project smoothly, it's important to have the following prepared:
Your Business Mission: A clear understanding of your business's goals and purpose. This helps us align your branding with your vision.
Products and Services: A detailed overview of what you offer so we can highlight your unique strengths.
Style Preferences: A general idea of the styles, colors, and fonts you love (and those you don't!). Feel free to share any inspiration, mood boards, or examples that resonate with you.
Your Business Name: Ensure your business name is finalised, as this will be central to your branding.
Target Audience: A clear picture of who your ideal customers are. This will guide the design process to appeal directly to them.
Competitor Research: If possible, provide examples of competitors you admire or want to differentiate yourself from.
Having these elements ready ensures we create a brand that truly reflects your business and resonates with your audience.

No, I specialise in creating designs for online marketing only. However, I’m happy to refer you to some excellent graphic and print companies that I’ve worked with in the past.
That being said, most of my designs are high-quality and versatile, meaning they can also be used for printing. If you plan to have materials printed, let me know, and I’ll ensure the files are provided in the appropriate format.

A mood board presents your colors, image inspiration. This will be our guideline for your project, but please note all images, fonts, colours, textures etc in the mood board will not be part of your final design, we will build upon this 'mood' and direction to make sure your design is unique and authentic to your business.

Yes, I strictly work on one website design project at a time to ensure my full attention is dedicated to your business. This means you’ll need to join the queue, but I’m happy to provide you with an estimated start date for your project.
In the meantime, you can get a head start by gathering your content, including text, images, and social media links. This preparation will ensure a smoother and faster design process once your project begins.

I work closely with experienced photographers I’ve collaborated with over many years in the event industry. As a former wedding planner and stylist with over 20 years of experience, I’ve styled countless photoshoots, so you can trust that I’ll create visuals that perfectly align with your website’s creative design and the overall feel of your business.
For an additional fee, tailored to your specific requirements, I can style a photoshoot to ensure your brand is beautifully represented.
Alternatively, I use carefully curated stock photos to create a cohesive and professional look for your website. These can be replaced over time with your own imagery as your business evolves.

While I don’t officially provide full copywriting services, I do offer a helping hand with what I call “filler text.” Most clients find it challenging to write their website content, especially for pages like the About page. With my deep understanding of what works visually and effectively on a website, I create text that serves as a solid foundation for your site.
This filler text is designed to get you started and can be refined or replaced over time as your business evolves. In fact, 80% of my clients choose to use the content I provide, often with only minor adjustments.
If you prefer professional copywriting, I’m also happy to recommend an excellent copywriter I’ve worked with many times.

All my web design packages include a basic SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) setup to help optimise your website for search engines like Google. This includes setting up meta titles, descriptions, and alt text for images, which ensures your website is easy to find online.
However, writing detailed SEO content and incorporating targeted keywords is not included in my services, as this is best handled by a professional copywriter. If you require more advanced or ongoing SEO services—such as detailed keyword research, competitor analysis, or regular performance tracking—I highly recommend working with a company that specialises in SEO.
SEO is a process that helps improve your website's visibility in search engines, which can increase traffic and attract your ideal audience. It’s a long-term investment and is best managed by experts who focus solely on this area.
